Crafted in our Banks Sails lofts, these paneled sails offer a perfect balance between traditional craftsmanship and enhanced materials, from major laminates producers on the market, providing robust, long-lasting sails for demanding sailors .
Eeach sail is custom-designed for the specific vessel by experienced sail designers, taking into account the intended sailing program as well as key boat-specific parameters such as mast bend characteristics, displacement, and righting moment.
The resulting sail geometry features a smooth, low-drag aerodynamic profile optimized for upwind performance, combined with a controlled, open leech to reduce heeling forces and weather helm.
